As many trail users may know, the Trillium trail bisects two parcels of land under private ownership. One of these properties will be logged this winter, as evidenced by the marked trees. Trillium Trail will not be closed during this work.
The consulting forester overseeing the work will post signs, however it will be left to the discretion of the trail user whether to proceed. Logging operations will not cease to allow for hikers, skiers, or snowshoers to pass through, so please use your discretion, turn around if necessary and make use of other trails for your hike. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
