Owls of Vermont program

Equinox Preserve Owls of Vermont program

Do you have what it takes to become an “owl prowler?”  The Equinox Preservation Trust, the Vermont Bird Place and Sky Watch and the Equinox Resort and Spa are once again pleased to bring Mike Clough of the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum to Manchester for this interactive presentation featuring live owls and owl artifacts!  Learn about the diets, adaptations and behavior of several native species, including Barred, Saw-whet and Screech owls and enjoy the opportunity to see them up close.

This family-friendly program is FREE and open to the public.  Join us at 7 pm on Friday, February 21, 2014 in the Rockwell Room of the Equinox Hotel.  At the conclusion of the indoor program, participants will have the option to make a short nocturnal visit to the Preserve to listen and call for owls.  Contact Equinox Preserve Steward Rick LaDue with questions: 366-1400.
